First attempt at this.

"This" is what exactly? "This" is my chance to get out all the pent up conversation I have about YuGiOh and any other card game I want to post here. This blog will not simply be based on game mechanics or deck design, I want to also focus on my results from events, my take on new releases and strategies, and really anything that can be said about the game.

To begin, let us touch upon my background. I played back when the game came out. I started off with the Kaiba starter deck and eventually bought the Yugi deck...then more Kaiba decks. I played with friends at home until we found out that a collectibles store in the mall would host events every saturday. I remember back then the hot thing to use was Maha Vailo and Axe of Despair/Malevolent Nuzzler. I believe I was using the basic Lajinn/7Colored Fish beatdown that everyone had. A little ways down the timeline I started running Dark Necrofear and Hades with my 1 Helpoemer(LOL) in a fiend deck. It was awesome, I had 3 germs, 3 twin-headed wolves (Hey, people used 3 Man-eater Bugs and 3 Hane-Hanes back then!). Ah, fun times.


Not too long after this set came out did I stop playing. I believe it was my junior year in high school...why did I stop? No idea. At this point I wish I hadn't but there's nothing to have been gained or lost. In May I decided I would get back into Yugioh. With fresh cards and a fresh attitude toward the game. I have a place to play at, a few decks to choose from(albeit not the best), and I'm having fun. With hope I'll be able to top more often at my locals and not have to put in so much money into a card game lol.
